In full: Another cracking event. If you want to kick start your running year then this is the event. Excellent communication before the event. Cheerful marshals and thoughtful memento. Same time next year then??

In short: Start the year as you mean to go on!
In full: First time doing this one and after excessive festive fun I was almost hoping that the race was going to be called off but I'm glad it was not despite being 7 minutes outside my PB.

Yes it's far more hilly then most racrs I do but my mistake was starting right near the back. The first 2 miles it was almost impossible to overtake (especially considering the icy conditions). Because of this, the hill came as a shock second time round when I was able to go a bit quicker! Lesson learnt for next year.

The scenery is wonderful especially running across the downs at the start. Organisation was great and as mentioned by most below, the marshalls were fantastic, always smiling and encouraging despite the fact that they must have been absolutely freezing.

Will be back next year, thanks all at Tadworth.

In short: Another excellent race
In full: I've done this on and off for 5 years now so not much suprises by way of course. That said, small changes this year up at top improved things. Cold but not as bad as I remember some previous years as it was dry and the icy conditions saved a lot of slipping on frozen mud making for good progress. Not my fastest time but I'm excusing myself with a cold and the aftermath of a very festive Christmas!
Once again, I love the momento. Whoever chooses these is a star!

In short: Excellent fitness booster, marathon preparation
In full: Very well organised, I appreciated the baggage drop off, pick up arrangements at the start/finish. Sub zero temperatures but the marshalls were well placed and friendly. Two tough hills on each lap.
