In short: Very good for PB potential but multiple laps are never that exciting.

In short: Friendly, low-key race but not sure about the accuracy of the course measurement - seemed a bit short.

In short: Shame about the rain!
In full: Excellent event again and results already posted on www.southlondonfives.co.uk as promised by the friendly organisers. Will be back next year. Hopefully in drier conditions.

In short: Very short
In full: Not surprised so many people are saying they got a PB or SB here as it was well under 10K (5.92 miles on my Garmin). It was my first sub-40 10K but I'm not counting it or I'd feel like a bit of a cheat. Maybe they should have been a bit more vocal about the lamppost earlier on but I still think it would have been a little under.

Anyway, not wanting to complain too much because it was a nice race (bar the downpour) and I for one quite like the 4-lap thing as it never seems like you've got as far to go.

In short: They must do something about the weather - rain, rain and more bloody rain!o
In full: Not sure about the course measurement and the msall grass section wasn't controlled properly on the first lap but was corrected for the others. Having said that, it's a charity event, not serious serious and local - work permitting, I'll be there next year to get soaked once again!

In short: Nice, flat, fast course
In full: A pleasant 10k in a nice settings. Shame about the wet weather but it was still a good run. Parking was a bit of a disaster - all that was needed was 1 person to stand there for a bit and tell us the main parking area was full and to turn back, but so many people kept piling in and then it turned into gridlock trying to get back out to find somewhere else. Marshalls were friendly and smiling despite the rain and a nice medal at the end too.

In short: Nice course, well marshalled, and friendly officials
In full: I really enjoyed this race, even though the weather was utterly foul. Thanks to the marshals for putting up with. Really nice to see children getting involved with the organisation as well.
