In short: 3rd Run - Died on my feet but still enjoyed it
In full: Great event as ever, even with the main sponsor dropping out - Went off too fast and paid for it - Limped in in 1.31, so not too bad

Great marshals, and goody bag. Well Done Bracknell

In short: Enjoyable race
In full: Good race and the course was well marshalled and signed. It was a good job because the course was mainly on cycle ways and footpaths. The marshals did a terrific job where we had to cross side roads.

The course was certainly "undulating" and the hill at about 8 miles made it quite challenging I thought.

The start/finish location was quite nice and spectators were able to get a coffee while they waited.

Only minor criticism was over the marshalling of the car park that meant people arrived later and left their cars in silly places. Minor detail that I think could be improved for next year.

In short: Not Easy!
In full: Found it tough going today - not sure why - it actually felt like 3/4 of the race was uphill! By mile 9 I was barely moving - most odd. Anyways, always good to return to my an old stomping ground, and mostly enjoyed the race (aside from my lack of fitness!) The local support was outstanding, and the marshalls and organisers were brilliant. I should also mention that the goodies at the end were the best I've ever received - I was actually pretty chuffed - shame I couldn't provide a performance to match! :)

In short: I love this race! Best in the area by a mile, give it a go next year!
In full: I've tried to do what I call my 'home' three halves for the past few years but with one thing and another this year was the first I've made it to all three (Reading, Wokingham & Bracknell). Hailing from Wokingham I never thought I'd be praising Bracknell but it puts the others to shame (relatively as they are good races)! Course is brilliant, all cycleways and paths, organisation is ace, marshalls great but what really makes it is the local support and the strange fact that Bracknell is really a runners paradise once you delve beneath the ring roads and dual carriageways :-)
This is one of those races that just has a brilliant feel about it, very friendly, top organisation, and a decent sized field with a good spread of abilities. I've PB'd on it twice now which helps! Was really happy to hit 1:30 this year, will be back next year to go under as the course seems to suit my style of running!
Thanks Bracknell for a brilliant race, I do hope it continues and It would be brilliant if Quintilles are still on board even if they do move out of town...

In short: Good race with a local feel and neatly avoids the worst corners of Bracknell
In full: Not the most scenic of routes, but avoids the town centre while also achieving a reasonable smattering of support, especially near the frequent water stations. Fantastic organisation, a friendly field and PB potential.

In short: Best Half in the Area
In full: Superb organisation and marshalling, small field of runners, good support and fantastic goody bag (puts Fleet to shame). If your looking for your first venture into a race, you can't go wrong with this one. Once you've done it you'll be back for more. Excellent event.

In short: Last year was NOT a fluke - it really is a cracking event.
In full: So far it`s the race of the year - I don`t why but I really do like this one. Easy to get to, loads of parking, good starting area. Generally flat for the first 5 miles, then becomes more of a challenge but despite that and the twists & turns it`s still a fast course. Massive amount of support where needed - water & sponge stops. Great finishing area. Super goodie bag. Well done Bracknell for putting on another great event. A must for next year.
