In short: Like clockwork
In full: Everything was just fine, so well done AVR
Marshalls very friendly, cannot have been much fun standing around in the cold wind
Challenging course with plenty of ups and downs
And so local, I was able to walk to the start and stagger home from the finish
Roll on 2009

In short: A "must-do" race if you like getting wet and muddy!
In full: This was my first time and despite a hip injury I was determined to do it, as I had been told what a great race it is. Loved the rocket at the start, loved the whole varied terrain in the race, but not the 2nd hill up thru the field. :-) This race was friendly and well-marshalled. Only disappointment was no medal or (even better) t-shirt at the end. A memento would have been nice, but just a bottle of water and a Quality Street. Will definitely do it again next year. Well done to Avon Valley Runners! Dave H., Corsham Running Club.
