In short: Gets better every year!
In full: Thank you to Sevenoaks Rotary Club for organising their 4th 10k race in Knole Park. The most noticeable improvement on 2009 is the introduction of electronic timing although my official time was a few seconds different from that on my Garmin.

Great weather for running and underfoot conditions benefitted from a couple of dry weeks. So, the mix of surfaces - some grass, some hard path / road - took a road running shoe.

One suggestion that I would still like to see implemented is to use paper cups at the 5k drinks station as these are easier to pinch and drink from compared with the plastic cups used again this year.

I guess that a sign indicating the baggage area at the start could be useful so that those who need it can find it - there was one, a groundsheet pegged out under a green gazebo.

Thank you to all the marshals for manning the course and parking beforehand, St John Ambulance, all the other volunteers who staffed the registration, timing, medals and post race drinks and bananas! Proud to say this is my local 10k.

In short: Beautiful surroundings, well organised, hill quite tough
In full: I had a great run including a pb and I enjoyed the on various surfaces to run on. The hill after the first km felt somewhat steep especially on the second lap. The organisation was good, although I walked there so I don't know how good or bad the parking was. All in all a splendid morning run in a beautiful park.

In short: Excellent scenery and very well organised.
In full: I loved this race a good mix of runners, well organised and a varied run with some hills but nothing too worrying. Good quality medal as well ! My boyfriend did this as his first 10k and really enjoyed the experience. Thankyou Sevenoaks rotary!
