In short: Great course, shame about the car parking. In full: If you got there early registration was fine and you could park near the exit (an unexpected bonus at the end!). Thought the online map to get there was good. What on earth possessed them to hang a metal girder in the air above the finish! Date of review: May 8, 2007

In short: Really pretty, and a great challenge In full: It was a lovely course, with the carpets of bluebells through thte woods. It was narrow in points, leading to some frustration when people couldn't pass others or when people stopped to walk in the middle of the path!! Getting out of the car park at the end was a fiasco, as the finish line crossed the exit, which was daft, but the run itself was totally amazing, and great value for money. I would easily do it again. Date of review: May 8, 2007

In short: loved it, great scenery, good to run in the countryside. Do train for hills beforehand though! In full: I thoroughly enjoyed this race, for the location, the weather, the bluebells, and the fact that, having made the effot to do hillwork in the previous weeks, I was very proud to be able to run through all of them! (they're not that tough anyway.)

In short: Not one for those wanting a PB. In full: This is a very special and charecteristic race. Presents challenges for the less experienced runner. If people were to look at the organisers website they would see how much time and consideration had been put into the marshalling, which I think was excellent and very encouraging. Remember these people are volunteers. For those who did not like parking arrangements, perhaps they should consider parking away from the venue, so they could walk and use the time to warm up and at the end get away more quickly. For me it was a great achievement to have completed it. To those who finnished in excellent times congratulations, as the course was a real challenge especially Trooper Lane. Did anyone actually run up it? Date of review: May 7, 2007

In short: Great but a little challenging! In full: Great organisation and communication in the days leading up to the race. Really enjoyed the scenic run - a little more challenging than I expected but still good fun! Lots of parking and friendly atmosphere. Car park problems mentioned by others are not a problem if you finish near the back as most cars are gone!! Date of review: May 7, 2007
