In short: Excellent, very well organised feel good race.
In full: This was my first 10k and I thoroughly enjoyed it, it was crowded at first and you needed to be alert to avoid bumping into walkers and the faster runners who were cutting across your path too. Lots of water stations, great crowds & a nice friendly atmosphere I would definately recommend it.

In short: Excellent race but very packed!
In full: Great race around Leeds - could be improved by including a few more scenic Leeds features (?!) suggestions - tour of the University campuses, more laps of city centre bits or out to the Headingley or Elland road stadiums maybe? Great atmosphere but the trade off is it's far too packed to run too fast! Good band on the route and support

In short: Great atmosphere and a great cause but just way TOO crowded
In full: Like others have said, I wouldn't want to swop places with the organiser but this feedback is intended to help. The course just had too many people of varying ability trying to get into too small a space.

I felt so sorry for the wheel chair pushers who were swomped within the 1st km and to be honest having chairs being pushed at the front of the feild was pretty short sighted and a disaster.

The lanes on the out and back section were just not long enough and using cones rather than proper barriers just provided a series of trip hazards in a very crowded field. Perhaps an out and back on another route would work better and give every one a little more space to manouver.

A great cause and perhaps a vicitm of it's own success to some degree. I hope they can iron out these challenges.

In short: I like atmosphere of this race.
In full: I am glad that I joined the race this year. Because I wanted to run the last year 2008 race, but it was already full earlier before I tried to apply! The course was tough at least for me to achieve my PB, but I enjoyed, especially a shopping area at the last 500 meter in the course, and I also enjoyed walking at this area after the race, remembering my running at the race. Finally, through this race brochure, I knew about Jane Tomlinton. I am impressed that she is a wonderful person.

In short: Dont expect a good start, but enjoy a showcase run. Lots of street support. Well done the people of Leeds.
In full: Dont do this if you want to PB
Do this if you like to wave as you run.

A charity event that is for a great cause, that Leeds runners should be proud of. Well organised and a fun way to spend a Sunday morning. By the end of it I was smiling and that's what counts.

In short: GREAT atmosphere, worth every penny because it goes to a fantastic cause. Enjoy the run, impossible for PBs as there are so many people running it you can't get past everyone so just relax and enjoy the race :)
