In short: Love this course but prefer to go around the whole lake. I did find the start line quite congested and because the lanes were narrow I felt it took quite awhile to get past other competitors. Great to receive a t-shirt

In short: Inspired me to tackle longer distances, nice to see the rowers 'doing their bit ' alongside the running track - a pity water ran out on the 2nd water station

In short: poor facilities
In full: there was no real place to leave bags, not enough toilets, and the goody bag at the end was the worse I've seen (just a load of advertising). i won't blame the hail storm on the organizers though

In short: Flat course. Great if you want a PB for a 10k. Open course therefore cross winds hit hard

In short: Dead flat and pretty fast - pretty track around the lake (where Eton row) and well organised - they just needed a few more toilets as the queues were pretty long so the race started late.

In short: The organisation was very good at the registration points. This event can only get better.

In short:
In full: As a first time 10k runner the flat course was ideal but having to run two laps the same was quite off putting. All the marshalls were very friendly and encouraging. Very disappointed at the end to find they had run out of goody bags but having heard what was in them mayvbe I didn't miss much. Would have liked a T shirt and medal. Needed more toilets as the queue just before the start of the race was long. For my second 10k will look for a race with more fun runners.

In short: Nice flat course, great for a beginner
In full: Started a little later than scheduled but other than that was well organised and weather held out for the race despite hail and rain half an hour before the start
