In short: Exceeded expectations
In full: I was expecting long grey dual carriageways, but actually was pleasantly surprised as it mainly kept away from these, meandering around estates and pathway. The section around the lake was very nice. Flat and wide enough to get a PB - which I did.

In short: boring and agony
In full: Apologies to the 2 runners I tripped one mile in. Not sure about hitting the wall but certainly hit the pavement. 6 miles till the nearest ambulance - a painful, walk jog to the finish line.

Boring race with no support. No goodie bag. Not one to repeat.

My view may be jaundiced due to the "character building" nature of it.

In short: Nice flat course, good organisation
In full: The course was flat with only a couple of slight slopes to run up. Great potential for personal best. The scenery left a lot to be desired it was very samey and all round boring houses. But there were a lot of people running and the atmosphere within the runners was nice. No goody bag?? Good organisation.

In short: Excellent race, superb organisation, fast course
In full: Really enjoyed this race, well organised, fast etc despite a reasonably strong wind. Set a PB despite cramp slowing me down towards the end. Will be back next year.

In short: race o k as usual although nike failed to record my time.
In full: race was what I expected but Nike failed to record my chip time and I cannot find any positional lists, which as I use my watch is more important. Is it just a scam to get everybody to by nike equipment rather than provide usefull info?
