In short: Its NOT all uphill/downhilll! How stupid was I to believe that!
In full: I don't know why I believed Dr Rob "It's all uphill on the way out and all downhill on the way back". How dumb am I? I mean the race is 1836 feet of ascent and descent and Leith Hill is only 968 feet high! Duh! There were some killer hills on the way back especially the one just before the finish. But it was fantastically beautiful. Jelly babies never tasted so good! Thanks Dr. Rob!
P.S. The photos are online already. Well done!

In short: Tough but very enjoyable
In full: Another great race from Dr Rob. Lots of hills, sand and tree roots but not too much mud!It was worth the climb to Leith Hill for all the downhill on the way back!

In short: Blinder
In full: Horrible, horrible, horrible, wheeeeeeeeeeee, horrible (the wheee is the downhill bit).

Fantastic bout of sado-masochism, as you would expect from Dr Rob. The last hill was pure evil and at one point I thought I might actually surrender to gravity and fall straight back down it. Marshalls were great. People complain about how much these races cost but the goody bag and stupid grin you'll have on your face for days afterwards make them a bargain in my book.

In short: Such a great crowd - such a great race
In full: What a fantastic event this is every year - the athletes and the marshalls are so friendly and fun - it makes the run itself so much easier knowing you got plenty of support from start to finish ..now all together ...."god save our gracious queen ..!!"
