In short: give it another if a complete re-organisation occurs
In full: Have to echo most of the other comments: route too narrow and crowded with some dodgy corners. Water was available on the pitch so waves 3 & 4 couldn't access it. We were too far away from the concert and I was cringing with the lack of support. Mix of race pace made for an awkward race with faster runners cutting people up and some mp3-ers doing the same. Why avoid puddles when you're already soaking wet? This slowed people down and I have to say I have no idea where the second water station disappeared to. I was nearly asleep when it came turn for me to set off and I wasn't too interested in the warm up . Wembley was great as were the t-shirts, great thumbs up to the marshalls along the route who cheered us all along. Maybe if they completely re-think the course and organisation and maybe have the waves according to race finish time, better access for all to the decent concert I'll consider and do again

In short: This must have looked great on the flipchart at Nike marketing HQ, but on the ground it truly sucked
In full: Nike completely forgot that this was a run for runners, and treated it solely as a cynical marketing exercise.

In short: Either a concert spoilt with a run or run spoilt with a concert
In full: This event was a mess ... It sounds good in theory but just did not work. Course was rubbish and concert just did not work. Too long spent hanging around and when we did get going the heavens opened and made the race even more difficult

In short: ridiculous timing of gigs - why BEFORE the race? race started too late. NO information on the event timetable before or even during the race.
In full: I imagined this would be a joyous event - was tedious, badly organised and forced. I really felt sorry for the bands playing, as they tried hard to get any reaction from the irritated crowd whose minds were on the race only. great potential, terribly wasted. never again.

on the positive side: texts with official time right after the race were a good idea as well as text reminder to pick up the race pack. and many thanks to lovely marshalls and locals cheering around 9k xx

In short: The rain's not their fault - but 3 1/2 hour wait to run in the dark round the car park?
In full: The wait to start seemed to serve no purpose whatsoever - why get us there by 6 when we (Wave 3) didn't leave until 815? And the course was dreadful - not just dull, but numerous hairpin bends, narrow lanes (coinciding with the deepest puddles so everyone slowed right down). Inept water station too - made you stop and wait while they took the top off the bottle! A straw poll at the end suggested 9 out of 10 wouldn't touch it again with the proverbial bargepole. Oh, and the course seemed long.

In short: The course was too narrow for the amount of runners and I must have missed the changing area.
In full: I don't agree with, most, of the other comments. The music was good -I was a Moby fan (main reason for turning up) and am now a Pendulum fan. It was a long wait for the race to start but I would rather listen to the music before the race rather than at the end and have to be prised out of the stadium!
The weather was fine for running and, out of Nike's control. The course was "interesting"(good job it was dark) but far too narrow, I ran about 11k zig-zaging around people (time trials before the next race might help).
The t-shirts were great and seeing the underground ablaze with red shirts, on the way to Wembley, and glowing white on the return was fab.
Lastly, I shall never forget running around the car park, in the heavy rain, looking across several lines of red shirted runners, snaking past to the sound of some good, uplifting music and seeing the Wembley arch lit up. It was worth it just for that !

In short: Can't disagree with the previous reviews, I didnt think £30 quid was too steep for two okay running t shirts and a wander around Wembley!

In short: Why are we waiting....????
In full: I had never had to wait so long just to run. Lucky i had my Energy drink to stay awake!! Didn't need the music and thought the warm up was okay.

I was so pleased i was in wave 2 instead of wave 4, they must have got home about 5 o'clock in the morning!.

Also thought a medal would have been nice rather than another T-shirt.

So overall Poor. Last Nike run i do.

In short: Appaling, worst race I've been in in 25 years. Why keep us in the pouring rain before letting run in the dark ? (great potential for twisted ankles.))
In full: This was very disappoitning. There was a young person with me who had not run such an event before who I had to tell that this was not the norm. It is the only time I have seen runners boo the starters. Even those holding us back in the rain looked embarrassed. The stewrads on the route were helpful though. It was run so late that it was dark enough that you could not easily see any ruts in the road until too late. Finding people in the dark in such a large location was also a problem. While individuals were helpful this was not due to any organisational expertise. I personally would not run anything organised by Nike again. To top it all it was given an extra large T shirt at the end which when I tried it on was smaller than someone elses large. Please do not repeat this fiasco, Nike.

In short: A real letdown compared to all the other years - expect better and obviously so do lots of others as for the first time the race wasnt even nearly full
In full: All off the above criticisms are entirely founded and I thought I would struggle to find a race as badly organised/thought out, as the London 10km - but I was wrong. The helpers along the route were great but the concept was poorly executed and if I was a beginner I would seriously not bother entering a race again. Sorry Nike but you let our sport down with this one!
