In short: Mud, mud, mud and more mud. Tough but good fun
In full: Ran the 15k and can honestly say it was the hardest run I've ever done.Organisation was excellent with lots of marshalls (shame most of them didn't encourage the runners too much). Would definately do again

In short: Thanks for another enjoyable race!
In full: It was superbly organised and the weather couldn't have been better, following the snow! I opted for the 10k and got round. Fewer fun-runners and beginners this year, I thought, which is a shame as it's an ideal event for those not pursuing fast times. Sloppy, slippery mud on the field sections caused a few problems. Who was the poor lady who lost a shoe about five seconds after the start and had to fight her way back through the mass of runners?! I could have done with three pairs of different shoes for the different sections. I will run again in March but not sure about increasing the distance to 15k!

In short: Very enjoyable, the hill did not disappoint, plenty of mud.
In full: My first 10k at this event. Friendly bunch of runners, good organisation and well marshalled. Difficult to keep on your feet at times, particularly the area around the 'lake'. Will definitely return.

In short: fantasic although very muddy and slippy!
In full: Yet again it did not disappoint. Went for the 15k this time, not sure i really had wanted to swim through the lake a third time tho. Great organisation, great crowd - enough said!

In short: Excellent race, exceedingly muddy, but hey
In full: Enjoyed the race, really muddy this time round with lots of large puddles (which are more like ponds) to run through. Prepare to get wet and muddy but enjoyable none the less.

In short: Excellent
In full: Not as muddy as expected, but the lake near the start made up for that. Ran like clockwork - not me, the event!
