In short: Great race despite poor weather
In full: This is a lovely scenic course, pretty flat and a good oppotunity to get a pb. The course is really well marshalled and although it's rural there was plenty of support out there despite the wet and cold.
Yes, there was a problem with the kit area but this isn't down to the organisation. The weather was freezing and wet so many people delayed their arrival until last minute causing a bit of chaos there.
The start is a tad narrow but it's up to the individual runners to get in the correct position according to their expected time, again, no fault of the organisers.
It's the second year I've done this race and will definitely be back next year.
Showers and free hot drinks at the end a nice touch as was the nice medal.

In short: Enjoyable fast course
In full: The freezing cold rain before the start probably contributed towards the big queues at the baggage tent. I think a lot of people just left if later than they normally would have.

Marshalls were extremely friendly in cold conditions so well done to them!

The course if pleasant with only slight undulations so pretty quick (though not pancake flat, like Cardiff for example). Good , enjoyable race which just suffered from the weather but that's just England in February.

I really would have liked something more than water after the event though. Many races provide energy drinks or at least a Mars bar and they should do something like that here.

In short: Scenic course, good potential for PBs. Chaotic start
In full: Shambolic start, start area too narrow and too many slower runners pushing one the start line in front of the faster runners queuing up in the 'time pens'. Long queues at baggage drop, due to runners leaving it til last minute.
Town centre car parks and the start area well signposted.
A great course - flat and scenic on closed roads and a great potential for a PB. Marshalls were fantastic around the course. Good to get a hot drink at the end. Nice medal as well.

In short: Great run, shame about the start
In full: Repeating what so many others have said. I have done this race before and never seen such a mess at the start (couldn't drop my bag off as I had to queue for half an hour for the loos - and I was there early!) Was really irritated by the terrible start though - it took far too long to get over the line, seems those who played fair and and stood in the correct time bracket eneded up stuck behind slower runners. Meant I had to work twice as hard to get to any PB. Once past the start I did love the course, nice atmosphere on the way round. I hope they manage to resolve the issues for next year.

In short: easy course, nice medal, poor baggage tent, good atmosphere.
In full: The start did seem a bit shambolic, however there didn't seem to be any bottlenecks where I was, once you got going. Fast course, and no wind this year, plenty of mud though at the bag tent, but that's just a small gripe.
