In short: Excellent - but make the car park no entry while cars are leaving
In full: The marshals were the most enthusiastic and uplifting that I've ever met. A really happy event - towards the end, the girls with the pom poms and then the African drummers were heart lifting.

Only bad bit was the girl in the yellow 4WD trying to drive into the car park when everyone was leaving.

In short: A really friendly feel to this one. Lovely setting for the start and finish. Great course taking in beautiful Thames scenery. A must do event!

In short: 9 and a half out of ten
In full: Would have given it 10/10 except for the fact that the medals were the same for both races! Would have been nice for the extra effort that the half-narathoners put in to be recognised, even in a small way on the medal or ribbon.
By the time we got back, all the freebie goodies had been nabbed by the 10k runners! Which cheeky devils took 2 bananas? ;-)

In short: Lovely run along the river with great african drummers
In full: A well organised race, friendly feel and very pleasant scenery, but tough being off-road. Some choke points prevent a PB, but a lovely Sunday morning out. Very encouraging marshals. Pity the hot drinks ran out. My first off-road half marathon and I really enjoyed it.

In short: One of the nicest routes - if not the best route - for a HM
In full: Second time that I did this HM - loved again every minute of it - even knocked off 2 minutes of my time from last year!
Just love the running in the meadows of the Thames Valley and the view. Pity the weather wasn't as nice as last year - but still this is probably the nicest HM that I have run - apart from maybe one that I ran abroad in Austria!
Well done Purple Patch - superbe organisation as usual - and the marshalls were all really supportive and cheery!
