In short: good race which needs toughing up.
In full: i really enjoy these races, but have found other races tougher, please make course harder grim and i will return year after year, also me and my mates ran throw every drop of water we could find, not so most of our fellow runners, which we fought was the hole point right.

In short: First off road race, mud and water made me laugh, cold feet, never stopped smilingg!
In full: As a 1st timer it was everything I expected and more. Challenging hills, lots of sticky mud and water everywhere. Agree that start line was crowded so difficult to get a pace going but overall excellent. Will be back next year.

In short: Can't wait to do it again!! Great fun.
In full: Love the race (2nd year) lots of mud and water this year. Real great fun for people with a certain attitude, Toonie Express loved it!
2 bits of advice for the organisers, keep the limit the same, keep the price the same, too many of these great races are ruined by letting far too many people run. See you in 2010, it will be a Toonie Express Target Race.
Very well done :)

In short: A quite challenging course but very variable depending on the weather (i.e. this weekend Sat OK, Sun horrendous!!) Good fun though and a very good atmosphere.

In short: fun race wasn't too grim!
In full: I enjoyed this race, compared to turbo x that I had done a few weeks before it was quite tame! The hardest part was keeping moving when you couldn't feel your feet. There was lots of cold water to get through! Not too much smelly mud though. I thought it ran very smoothly and had a great atmosphere. I managed to clock 8.7 miles on my Garmin though!

In short: Muddier, wetter and longer (?)
In full: This still rates as one of the biggest smile makers of the year. The mud section seemed longer, the hills seemed steeper and I'm sure it felt longer than last year.

I'm also sure the size of the field is growing . . .

Fantasticly quick to get results published

Big question is, did the ambulance ever get out of the mud?

In short: Wetter and muddier than last year
In full: Some new bits put in which add to the variety. Very crowded this year and some people seemed to walk from the start! After recent rains the water features were more challenging than previously. Top t-shirt as ever.

In short: If it looks bigger than a puddle then it probably is
In full: The autumn/winter rain that has settled on the course will add 3-5% to your time. But at least it wasn't Baltic like last year. A good, fun, challenging course (because the weather was perfect today). The start would benefit from timing pens and it looks like Scrooge got the contract again for the "goody bags".
