In short: Great race, great weather
In full: I almost didn't make it to this race, first because I was feeling ill and second because of the weather that week. Surprisingly I woke up that morning to a sunny morning and sunny mornings are just wonderful at Hyde Park. I decided to give it a go and although I had some difficult times while racing (took me 1h8m) it was a a lot of fun, specially because it was my first charity run!

In short: Unfortunately, I got lost.
In full: I REALLY enjoyed the first 7 or so k's. Then I got lost. :-( No idea how that happened. I followed a path. I guess I missed a turn, which wasn't marked. I took 1h24 minutes, and I definitely ran far more than 10k, on a completely wierd route. I was lucky i ever found the my way to the finish line to cross it. I *might* do it again next year (but be VERY careful now to get lost!).

In full: I thought that this was a really good addition to the 10km races going on in London, which seem rare after the recent half-marathons. The whole thing was brilliantly organised and the marshalls were fantastically friendly - combined with the fantastic scenery I would definitely recommend this race. Oh, and I can't understand the comments about the bag drop, I've experienced ones much further away!

In short: Not as fun as I thought it would be...
In full: This was my first ever run. I was disappointed by the atmosphere. I arrived alone, ran the race without speaking to anyone, and then went home at the end. It's not to say that the marshalls weren't encouraging and friendly, but it all seemed a bit serious!

One final criticism- the paths weren't closed to the public so there were lots of dogs, cyclists and buggies to dodge! It was nice when spectators were cheering and encouraging the runners, but not nice when they were just getting in the way!

In short: Not enough toilets, and would have liked at 500m sign at end.

In short: Absolutely loved this race, it was so much fun!
In full: This was a great race for me, the organisers were helpful, the marshalls were encouraging and the atmosphere was really relaxed and friendly. Considering one of the porterloos was out of order I think there were enough toilets for the number of people, and the nearest Hyde Park toilets were only about a 3 minute jog away! I really enjoyed this race and would definitly do it again next year. If the organisers could please put on the same weather too, that would be perfect!!! Thanks!

In short: Beautiful location, friendly and well done especially considering the very bad weather of the past few days. I really enjoyed it and am impressed that this was their first year. Count me in next year!
