In short: My first marathon and a very special day
In full: This was my first ever marathon and I enjoyed it very much despite the tough last 7 miles. The crowds in Chester and the villages were great. The whole race was superbly organised and as a horse racing fan the final furlong to the finish was spine tingling. Well done to all and will deffo do it again.

In short: Fantastic race, well organised and lovely setting
In full: A great race, managed to achieve the PB we had been working towards and didn't get at London! Nice setting and lovely running through the countryside. Well orgnised drinks stations, baggage etc... Loved the technical race t-shirt in the goody bag, especially as you could get different sizes, i'm quite small and usually they are one size fits all so I can never wear them, but I will definately wear this one all the time for running! A fab race which I would definately do again!

In short: Well organized, great atmosphere and scenic course.
In full: This was my first marathon and I don't think I could have picked a better one to "break my duck".

The organization seemed to run like clockwork, with friendly volunteers at the drinks stations and marshalling point. The people of Chester and outlying villages turned out to cheer us on through the scenic countyside.

Will def. be back next year.

In short: A new benchmark for organised distance running!
In full: Simply superb ... from the pre-race sign up, regular comms throughout build up, scheduled training runs, through to the day itself no detail had gone un-noticed and dealt with in a throroughly professional manner.

The day itself was fantastic, with the whole operation on the racecouse running like clockwork.

The course was excellent with a good mixture of the city sights and then out in to the countryside to get into your rythymn. Fantastic support from the villages too, helped no end by the masterstroke of printing names on the numbers.

Then a great finish along the spectator lined river and finish infront of the granstand. Superb !

Definately one to go on every self respecting runners 'must do' list.
