In short: Slightly dull two lap race, but well organised and good PB potential

In short: Well organized but a bit wet
In full: And, of course, the organizers can't do anything about the weather. Other than that: very well organized, great support from the marshalls - THANK YOU to them for braving the weather. The course is not particularly scenic, and today it was rather slippy in places, but apart from one short incline really quite fast. Lovely tea and cake at the finish - and I always like a T-shirt!

In short: Good race, well-organised and all the important things done well.
In full: I don't know why but I find this course never brings out the best in me. Perhaps too many twists and turns and not quite as flat as you expect. The spectators looked miserable in the cold and the rain. Well done to the marshalls and officials for being out in that!

In short: Shame about the weather!
In full: Freezing cold, wet and muddy - but made up for by cheery and good marshalling. Difficult to PB as I couldn't overtake on the narrow footpaths (and was worried about slipping on the muddy grass!) but didn't do too badly considering. Array of cakes at the end made it all worthwhile!

In short: Nice rice, not sure about the stretch along the A4 though!
In full: I did enjoy it in parts but didn't enjoy going around again, that was a bit boring. Also the stretch along the A4 wasn't very nice. However, the marshals were nice and the atmospher was quite good and it was well organised.

In short: Well organised and friendly
In full: Well organised, started on time, very friendly. Plenty of space to change in the school and efficient bag storage. 2 flat laps around the village, although overtaking tricky in places on narrow paths.
Would definitely do it again.

In short: Great for all abilities
In full: The marshalls were very helpful and some were very encouraging. I enjoyed the 2 lap route as it felt new the first time and familiar the second. Although it's a flat course, the footpaths made overtaking hard so not quite full marks for PB potential. However as I wasn't in top shape this year, this didn't upset me as it forced me to take breathers! Overall a very enjoyable race. Thanks for everyone's efforts. I would definitely run it again. And to the guy with whom I had a titanic(!)sprint around 48mins: I pulled a muscle, but it was worth it!
