In short: Back to brilliance
In full: Problems corrected from last year ... so this is again an event to enter. Fantastic marshals, mementos great value for money - especially against Bath and others which are almost twice the cost ;)

The weather held good and I loved the earlier start - not so much traffic and able to get home in time for Sunday dinner.

Will be back next year

Many thanks to the organisers

In short: Well organised, lovely location, touch expensive
In full: My first time at Llanelli. Slightly biased as I totally pulverised my PB so bound to be well-inclined to this race!

Plenty of loos and car parking, decent facilities for spectators. Pretty enough scenery - got very lucky with the weather, on a windy day I'll bet it's a different story.

Nice atmosphere amongst runners, what little crowd support there was were friendly enough. Marshalling on the whole competent if not exactly cheerleading, water stations and turn points very efficiently marshalled - I think to describe the marshalling as "totally inept" as a previous reviewer has is very unfair, although there were a couple of problems at mile 8/12 ish.

Memento nice enough and reflective of the entry fee but I'd have preferred a medal and something to eat tbh!

But the cons are mostly matters of personal preference - a good race.

In short: I've run this race for last 3 years. Only problem for me is way the price has rocketed, but the race and facilities stayed the same.
In full: Good course that can be windy as it's an exposed coastline. Fairly good PB potential, but don't see how they justify the price. Mainly run along cyclepath. Some of the marshalls were great, but some didn't want to be there at all....On my doorstep, but might be time for a change next year

In short: Too expensive for an amatuerish event
In full: I ran this race a few times a couple of years ago when it was a lot cheaper and you got chips at the end…rough edges were therefore excused. If you are paying £27 including booking fees etc you expect a lot better than having to side step runners heading in the opposite direction and totally inept stewarding … took best part of an hour to get out of the car park at the end. Shame

In short: Nice weather conditions made for a fantastic race
In full: First time running Llanelli and was very impressed.
Good facilities for runners and the course was nice and smooth.
Definite PB potential but a few little slopes along the way to keep things interested.

In short: Excellent race for all abilities, great for PB
In full: Flat with slight undulation, good for PBs and for all level of running ability. Coastal path means great scenery but prepare for strong winds and a cold start (9am). Well organised with helpful, friendly stewards.

In full: Everything we've come to expect from Llanelli races run by Human Being Active. The race was well organised, the scenery very good and the atmosphere friendly. Well done - I'd recommend this one to all.

In short: A jolly good morning

All in all a good mornings work.
