In short: Great for a marathon training run
In full: This is a superb event, ideally timed for the various spring marathons (vienna in my case) and is as good a way to do a 20-miler in a competitive atmosphere as I can think of. The location is ideal, being relatively easy to reach with almost umlimited parking. The organisation was excellent, starting with the ample toilets and including a challenging but fair course and just the right number of water/ gel/ jelly baby stations. Well done to the marshalls, who were friendly and helpful. Absolutely nothing that I could fault this one on

In short: well orgainised race that is a tough test - congrats to all in Ashtead!
In full: Simple effective race. Parking and race directions worked very well. Just the right amount of marshalls on this undulating course (three tough hills per lap I counted). Great test for those looking to challenge themselves for a marathon as the ups and downs on the course make it an added test over 20 miles. Plenty of water stations and generous with gels and sugar sweats! The medal is of a very good quality and at the finish the bacon roll and tea went down a treat - I also achieved my target time too so well pleased with the day. Well done Alan, Nicky and all involved - Marshalls great job done!

In short: Really well organised, friendly runners which helped the pain of the 2 hills.
In full: I was nervous before the event as training for London Marathon not gone as well as previous times. I was delighted to run the whole thing including the hills. had some interesting chats with various runners on route. Well worth it.

In short: Well organised race
In full: Did this race last as preparation for the Brighton Marathon. Well organised two lap event, I would describe this course as undulating. Nice running round the airfield. Will be back next year.
