In short: Hard and hilly, but well worth the effort In full: My first HM - and what a way to start! Lots of hills to tackle, but well compensated by a friendly and well organised day. Well done Robertotwn Road Runners. Date of review: February 14, 2010
In short: Great route, fab marshalls and the hills are not all that bad! In full: Really enjoyed running this today, was very well organised with lots of supportive marshalls (and local police support too which is always nice)! Managed a great PB so needless to say I'm pleased. Would definately run this again. Date of review: February 14, 2010
In short: Tough but enjoyable.... In full: very well organised and great support from the marshalls. the hills were tough, but the weather was good and not very windy either. the roads were not closed, but the traffic was generally OK. oh and the hills were tough, did i mention that?
Nice finish on the village green and i called in at the community centre for a coffee and well earned slice of lemon cake! Date of review: February 14, 2010
In short: Brilliant organisation- thanks Roberttown In full: Had a brill race, everything seemed to be going well, even found the hills ok this year, but 3 mins slower than 2009, despite loads of regualar training. Must be old age. Ah well- have earned a lager tonight! Date of review: February 14, 2010
In short: Very tough but wholly rewarding. In full: What a tough course this is. Almost 9 miles of regular hills. It is a great challenge though and very satisfying. The scenery was great and organisation first class. Roberttown are a very friendly club and I would recommend this to anyone. However make sure you train for those hills. Oh and I got a PB.
