In short: They make us tough in the North West
In full: Despite a shocking run (poor preparation due to knee injury) and being 3 mins slower than last year, a great race. Camaraderie in plentiful supply due to the snow and supportive marshalls. Thanks to all involved. My only criticism was the goody bags - not as good as last year and the new queuing system to get your medal etc - other than those minor issues, fantastic and i will be be back next year to crack the elusive 1:40 (unless i manage it at Freckleton first!)

In short: A bit boring and somehow they lost my result details
In full: This is a 2 loop slog with not that many runners and is prone to bad weather due to location and it being in Feb.
I'd definitely recommend that you take an Ipod as it can get lonely - v little support along the dull course.
I ran this and did a PB - got the goody bag etc and had my result listed - but then to my surprise my details (along with the guy behind me) were removed. I have tried contacting them several times to resolve but just get ignored.

Result is I'd rather not run this again - but ok for a PB if the conditions prevail.

In short: Great race for a PB, providing the wind is not blowing too much! Well organised and marshalled. A very good race for anyone doing a spring marathon.

In short: Nice sea breezes, well marshalled
In full: A nice race, flat on the promenade, a little undulating as you turn onto the cliff top, but still quick.
Well marshalled on the route, however the start area was quite tricky to get as you had to cross a very busy road from race HQ.
Plenty of toilets (although not very clean).
Glad to see RW pacemakers there, always helpful.
I'd do this again....

In short: Less wind & definite PB race. Excellent value for money, good strong field
In full: Short sharp inclines are deceiving. Well worth a run out.

In short: Who knew Blackpool was that hilly?! Seriously though, it's well worth a run - the sea breeze cools you down nicely
