In short: Hot, humid and hard...lovely
In full: I was back for a second helping this year. As far as I was concerned, the weather put paid to any aspirations of a PB. Organisation was smooth and the atmosphere was very friendly.

This was my introduction to "proper" running last year, and I'd recommend it to anyone new to competitive running. I got bitten by the bug and this year's Waddesdon became my 15th race.

In short: An out and back course. Almost 2.5km downhill then 2.5km back. A quick loop of the stately home itself to finnish. Just don't be too tempted to go off too fast, you will pay for it in the second half.

In short: Fantastic Race
In full: I am a newcommer to running and found the course fantastic. I was the slowest runner and my friend stayed with me the whole way!! It was really hot but that did not stop me!! The run down hill was great but the run uphill was a killer but the most beautiful scenery around a loveley manor!!! All the other runners were great!!! Everyone was clapping me on and giving words of encouragement, even the front runners who were passing me as I had just passed over 1K!! The race officials and the marshalls were excellent!! I would definitely run this one again!! Thanks to everyone!!

In short: Good race, somewhat challenging with a long (but not steep) hill, not helped by humid conditions. Excellent water supplies.

In short: Really nice run in a beautiful setting
In full: Thought that a 5K race would be easy (my first at that distance) but the 2k climb in hot & humid conditions plus bad pacing on my behalf made it a lot tougher.

In short: Hot, hilly, but great fun and excellent organisation. Never seen so many water stops on a short race!
