In short: Good challenging course and well organised , with nice intimate friendly atmosphere
In full: Organisers have definately taken on board feedback from previous years events and continued to improve the race, with chip timings and new track finish. Very well organised day and marshalled excellently. Will never be the fastest course, but is a good testing half marathon and would recommended as part of a training plan for any budding marathon runners.
Look forward to running again next.

In short: Great Organisation, not the best course in the world..
In full: Have done this twice now, much better weather this year though, course could be better but is limited by not being able to close the roads. Great support and marshalling.

In short: A tough course but well marshalled and organisers did a good job in responding to feedback to improve the race from previous years
In full: I found that the changes made to the event regarding the start and finish positions as well as the chip timing improved the organisation, and overall the atmosphere was good with decent weather

In short: Well worth the effort - but those hills made it one big effort!!
In full: Thoroughly enjoyable if tough-ish race. No really big hills but plenty of long drags to make them tell. The downhill bits are good though.

Great organisation turns this into a very good race indeed.

In short: very well organised, friendly and efficient
In full: An excellent rate, well organised and marshalled in view of the sometimes difficult street conditions, crossing roads etc. The chip timing is state of the art. Highly recommended!

In short: Well organised, well marshalled event
In full: The addition of port-a-loos and chip timing was good. I was using this as part of a 19m training run so was doing it very slowly - the marshalls were cheerful and encouraging even though I was right at the back of the field!
