In short: Scenic, hilly - but fast. Great t-shirt. Needs one more water station.
In full: Nice scenery. Quite a few hills, but some long downhill sections make them worth it. Only one water station at about 6-7Kish - could have done with one more water station a wee bit earlier. Great t-shirt. Very friendly. Very good value.

In short: Lovely run in great surroundings. On the hilly side of 'undulating!'

In short: Superb course, to suit all standards of runner.
In full: A PB for me so I was pleased. Good marshalls along the route giving encouragement. Really enjoyed the route. I was lucky I had a good friend to help me along but all the other runners were friendly too. Back again next year for sure.

In short: what a brilliant organised run - great t-shirt too
In full: There were loads of marshalls to help you on your way - no chance of getting lost at the back. This is a great race for beginners and elites alike

In short: Good weather good run
In full: Expecting rain, but weather was ideal. Windmill hill and the hill by the field after the 9k were testing. All in all a nice race.

In short: Well done to the organisers...
In full: 1st time for this race and really enjoyed it!!!! Fast paced race with great atmosphere from the cheering of spectators to give much needed support. Even the Police joined in to take the pain away from the aching limbs...

Could have placed the drinks station on a flat surface and not on a hill - difficult to drink when lungs are ready to burst...

Roll on 2006...

In short: Well organised, very scenic, but not a PB course
In full: Lovely scenic route with a mix of lanes, town paths and off road parkland. A tricky course with 4 good climbs so not one for a PB but a good general atmosphere, well organised, nice t-shirt, plenty of parking, changing etc. In fact all the things you'd look for in a race.

In short: Organisation from parking to finishing the race was excellent. A friendly atmosphere with great marshalls, shouting support. Only grumble is areas where passing runners is impossible, but overall a great race.

In short: this is the 4th year on the trot that i have run, and have enjoyed it each year, even though the hill out of Saffron Walden to Littlebury gets me every time!!
