In short: Excellent well organised race.
In full: This one definitely goes in my diary for next year. Brilliant course, fantastic marshalling, marvellous cakes at the end. What more could you want?

In short: Excellent race, well worth running in.
In full: All aspects of this event were excellent. I will certainly look to run in this event next year. My thanks to all who took part in both running and organising this race. The race route itself was particularly good.

In short: This race is fantastic
In full: So much fun to run locally and see so many familiar faces. I quite often run this route in training, but have never entered a 10k before. The presence of the other runners harnessed my competitive spirit and I slashed almost 3 mins off my PB. Delighted. Don't be scared of the hills at the beginning, they warm you up nicely and thanks to the runner who chatted to me all the way down the Norbury zig zag which helped kerb my natural tendency to rush this bit and end up with a nasty stitch. The odour emanating from the greasy spoon in the final stages was a bit of a stomach churner, but I noticed a few runners enjoying their well deserved fry up later. Thanks for everything. It was great.

In short: a good first 3 miles on the climb, with a fast 3 on the home stretch,
In full: My first 10k race since a calf muscle tear in June so not my best 10k finish, struggled up the hills but enjoyed racing again on this fantastic course.
For £20 on the day entry is a a bit steep for this type of race but as its for charity not an issue. The medal was not a good enough standard this year compared to the 2007 medal.

In short: 2nd time better than the 1st
In full: Very well organised, chipped timing worked well. Fantastic looking cake stand!
Would be happy to opt out of medal to give more money to charity. Will be back next near!

In short: Run the hills, enjoy the cakes.
In full: 5th year that I've been at the race, but first time that I was not marshaling. For years I've been told how good the race was and it was all true. i love hilly runs, so this suited me and
everyone else I spoke to appreciated the undulations and different terrains. This year I earned the cake - apple sponge being my favourite. You should start a grading for post race cuisine! This race would definetly top the polls.

In short: A great way to spend Sunday morning
In full: Third PB in a row in this race. That's not the only reason it's fun. The scenery is great and the running varied. Sore thighs at the end though from the downhill running on a hard track. Overall a race to be recommended to anyone.

In short: An enjoyable run with plenty of variety.
In full: A race of two halfs. First 4K through suburban streets and beautiful woodland is uphill (with two notable stretches between 1&2K and 3&4K). Following the long meandering downhill after the half-way, it's flat(ish) all the way home. The written comments on each of the Km markers is a nice touch that other races could follow (They often gave useful info on km ahead) This is an efficiently organised race that deserves its popularity. It could be improved by having more people on the waterstop, some 800m, 600m, 400m etc count down markers over the last km and a medal that actually indicates the name of the race. I know it was for charity but I'm sure some comapnies would give something for a goody bag at the end(see Dartford 10). Well done to all involved!
