In short: Usually local Xmas Fat buster 10 miler in the country
In full: Nice race again this year still don't like the first mile through the 'Brookside' close too quick. Must slow down first mile ;). Great atmosphere apart from the cock who was elbowing people out the way after 4 miles. One of our club won it so good day all round. I sweated out my xmas excess and got a course record (personal not actual !) no pb but not fit. Glad to see back of 2008. More 2009 PBs :)

In short: I woud like to thank the RR runner who acted as sweeper to the event for his patience and support throughout and enabled an inexperienced runner at tis distance to achieve a PB. Johnjogger.

In short: A great way to end the year.
In full: Very well organised & definitely worth doing. Sadly, the mile 9 marker wasn't very visible leading to confusion at the end. A huge thank you to all the marshalls who stood out in the cold cheering - I will be back next year.

In short: Undulating, well marshalled and a pleasure
In full: An excellent race. Needed lots of marshals for all the twists and turns and had them - thanks to them all for standing out in the cold, a great turnout. The course is playful, but some good downhills to get the legs turning over and I can't complain at a pb. Minor issues with the start - lots of us not quite sure where it was, needing a last-minute shuffle around - and the 5 mile-marker seemed a couple of hundred metres too far on, but this is a good, friendly, well-organised race and pretty scenic once you've dealt with the urbanised switchbacks at the start.
