In short: Not the flattest of "flat" courses, but I survived! Very well organised.

In short: Ran a PB in my local race so can't grumble at that!
In full: First 2/3 of race fairly quick - ensure you have some juice left in the tank for the latter part! A fairly tough 10K course overall and weather was perfect today for running.

In short: Don't underestimate the uphill finish....anyone know of any downhill 10KM finishes ?
In full: Knocked over a minute off my personal best, but only previously run 3 before, Sheffield twice and Clumber Park.

Ran the first 3 miles in 22 minutes and finished in just of 48 minutes....th hills didn't help but fitness levels could have been better.

In short: Nice scenery out from the start and a nice little blind hill to end with!

In short: 'Goody bag' was criminal. Just a T-shirt in a huge non-biodegradable sack. Why not just give out the T-shirt? Water stations poorly manned and organised.

In short: Enjoyed the course though the finish on the boggy school field wans't ideal.
In full: Enjoyed the rest of the course though - undulating with nice scenery once you've past the coking plant! Traffic in places but no problem - beat my pb by over a minute so well chuffed!

In short: Hills to Challenge
In full: Enjoyed this race and was glad i made the trip, Yes the hills are tough, the one at 5 miles went on and on and....... But in the end i managed a new PB and my first time under 40mins, so the route was fair, we had plenty of downhill as well. The organisation seemed to help the race run well and all in all i would recommend and run again.
