In short: Only did the half! In full: Fantastic race, great location & a real challenge. Not too many flat bits so don't do it if you don't like hills, lots of 'em!
One thing, would be nice to get a medal for the half. Date of review: January 21, 2005

In short: I only did the half, an absolute must for the runners calender In full: I only did the half, promised to do the long one next year.
I entered this after meeting the organiser on the startline of the Coniston 14. It is a truely great day out, mainly thanks to Rod Berry who puts alot of time and effort into this, and makes all feel more than welcome from the initial entry!!!
The scenery really is awesome, I would say you would have to go off-road to improve on this, it must be the prettiest road race.
It is also a good race for supporters to come along as the route loops almost ack to the start (walking distance) after 3 miles then 6 miles before heading out. Those wise spectators do so from the Three Shires with a pint of Hartleys!!
Can't wait to do it next year, well done Rod and others, you run a great race. Date of review: December 20, 2004
