In short: Excellent preparation run for a Spring marathon In full: 2nd time doing this and as last year really enjoyed it. Very well organised, good facilities available and the enthusiastic and knowledgable marshalls, as last year, were a great support. Would definately do this one again! Date of review: March 28, 2010

In short: Good challenge and fab organisation. In full: The 4 laps worked for me and it was not boring. The marshalls were fantastic and very encouraging all the way round. Coming from rural Oxfordshire, I found the traffic busy but the marshalls were great in sorting that. Would definitely do it again. Date of review: March 28, 2010

In short: Smashed my PB, enthusiastic marshalls & loved the 4 laps. Good choice not doing Oakley! In full: Only did a PB at 20 miles a few weeks ago at Bramley and took over 2 minutes off my time today.
There was lots of marshalls, all very enthusiastic (on every lap) too which gave motivation the whole way round the course.
Had to make a decision whether to do Oakley or Finchley today and I am so glad that I made the right decision especially as I loved the 4 laps - thank you Hillingdon! Date of review: March 28, 2010

In short: The great support from the marshalls made up for the average scenery In full: A good amount of downhills mixed in with some ups. The 4 laps were mentally challenging but it did mean there were no surprises for the last few miles. The crowd was friendly, and the marshalls were aplenty and very encouraging. A great pre-marathon preparation race Date of review: March 28, 2010

In short: The 1st 20 I ever did -excellent for first timers. In full: Undulating enough to be challenging without crazy hills and the 4 lap format is good if you're new to the long distance. Perfect training for marathons in London and Paris. Would definitely return! Date of review: March 28, 2010

In short: Very good preperation for a Spring Marathon - Very good, friendly marshalling In full: 4 Laps of 5 Mile each - not to everyone's taste but worked for me. I felt "making progress" by completing each lap. Little bit hilly, but all runnable. Clubhouse was v crowded, but really appreciated the facilities of the location. If I'm in the country next time for a Spring marathon, I'll definitely do this as preparation again. Date of review: March 28, 2010
