In short: Well-organised, great marshalls, no showers!
In full: First outing at this distance. Lucky we had beautiful sunshine though wind made it tough in places. Marshals great with loads of encouragement. Could have done without long walk back to car at finish (also signposts would have been useful). Happy with my goody bag, I got a headband, running mate less impressed with her inflatable 'thing'!

In short: Really enjoyed this, although the wind was relentless.
In full: Parking easy, and Race HQ all close to the start. Glad I was collected at the finish and didnt have to walk back to the car at the end though! Marshals were great, lots of water stations, will be back again.

In short: Lovely marshals, good course and very friendly
In full: My first 20-miler was a great experience thanks to the lovely, encouraging marshals, good organisation and beginner-friendly atmosphere. The gusts of wind I could have done without but otherwise lovely weather. Water stations were well-manned and frequent enough.
I didn't enjoy the walk back to my car from the finish but I should have parked closer! Can't believe so many negative comments about the memento - a re-useable bag is 100% better than a tacky medal or t-shirt in XL that gathers dust in the cupboard and the chocolate bar made my day when I found it. Well done WAC; a great race and worth the drive out of the Fens.

In short: Deceptively tough
In full: Good organisation and a nice varied course. The hills, although seemingly gentle were quite tough in reality. Really good marshalls - encouragment in spades. I'll be back. Perhaps a medal next time?

In short: Gain a PB - disappointed at "bag" as memento!!
In full: Managed to knock 23mins off my Bury20 in 2007. Great course and excellent marshalls dotted about. However "Starting Point" was non-existant - even marshalls were a little confused. Disapointing memento!

In short: A good rolling circuit but very exposed to the winds at times. Good support along the way with adequate water stations. Poor goodie bag at the end

In short: The wind was frustrating but made the course challenging in places. Achieved a PB taking 8 mins off my time for this race last year. Much better finish this year, good organisation, friendly and supportive marshalls - disappointed with the bag

In short: Great race - could have done without that wind though!
In full: 2nd time I have done this, but first time in 3 years. I'd forgotten about the hill coming back into town at around 18 miles - that was tough! Thanks to all the marshals who cheered me on - I was wearing number 1!
Disappointed with the bag at the end.
