In short: Brilliant organisation and a stunning course
In full: This was my first Ackworth Half and I surprised myself by running a PB. Fantastic organisation for an event of this size - excellent runner pack pre-race with good, clear maps etc, easy to park, well signed start, plenty of water stops, lucozade also provided bu the star of the show is the countryside route - very scenic and undulating to keep things interesting. The Brass Monkey seems to get all the plaudits but in my opinion this is a better race. I'll be back next year without a doubt.

In short: Really struggled with this one last year, a lot better this year but still managed to die about 11m. Will def be back next year, one of my favorite races.

In short: A brilliantly organised race and wonderful scenary
In full: Love the course, wonder why I do city events. Friendly marshalls at all points, I accept the previous point about bottles for water, but that cannot happen unless the wtaer company sponsors the event.

In full: Can't fault the organisation, although as with most half marathons I am not keen on the use of cups rather than bottles for water.
