In short: Great atmostphere, support and the weather held out! In full: Same route as last year - not much of it is level but only a couple of significant hills to speak of. When the sun did come out, it was a little hard going but not like the 31 degress of last year. As it occurs on the town's carnival day, there was a fun fair and park at the finish and plenty of free parking. Everyone gets a medal - to be honest I would rather the cost of it go to charity but a nice treat for the fun-runners. I'll be back next year. Date of review: July 2, 2007

In short: Quite a challenging course but very well organised In full: The weather was perfect for a PB however the course is quite demanding so i got no where near my PB. However the course was traffic free and the stewards were exellent. Date of review: July 2, 2007

In short: Where did that hill come from!! In full: Great well organised race with very helpful, friendly and encouraging marshalls. Despite running down that hill near the start it was still a shock near the end, but what goes down had to come back up! Loved it though and will be back next year Date of review: July 2, 2007

In short: Good race, well organised, well marshalled. A few hills! Weather held out! In full: I enjoyed this run. You get to run down a big hill on the way out. Unfortunately it is still there on the way back! Lots of puddles on the lanes to splosh through due to the incessant rain (which actually held off for the whole race). Finish was nice - and what a fantastic medallion at the end! Date of review: July 1, 2007

In short: The hill was a killer, but there were ferrets at the end! In full: Excellently organised - good signs leading to start and carpark made it easy to find. Marshalling was excellent throughout. Course was pleasant, except for the hill just after 8km. Part of the Bromsgrove Carnival in Sanders Park, so there were stalls to wander round afterwards - including Mercia Ferret Welfare and Rescue, witha 'ferret roulette'. I got a spot prize, so between that and the ferrets I was pretty chuffed. Date of review: July 1, 2007
