In short: They promised it was a PB course, and it definitely was - I took 10 minutes off my previous 10 mile time. Not exactly exciting scenery, but well organised and lovely marshalls.

In short: Does what it says on the tin
In full: Great marshals, all very encouraging and managed traffic well. In Sidcup so not exactly expecting bucolic scenery. I needed the push to get me beyond the 5-6 mile mark and this definitely did the trick - I felt every mile, but completed bit quicker than expected! Having the start/end in a local school was a fantastic idea in terms of warmth/shelter/loos/changing. Intend to do this one again.

In short: Nice and quick, and I'm sure a tad shorter than ten miles!
In full: Excellent PB potential. Although my first 10 mile race, it was always going to be a PB but very satisfactory 64 mins 52 secs for me.

In short: Fairly flat but pavement running is not my thing!
In full: Marshalling and organisation were very good. Thanks to all the marshalls for giving up their Sunday and for their encouraging and friendly comments. Good atmosphere. However, running nearly all the way on the pavement was unforgiving on the joints - it was a slog - and not so good for pedestrians either!! Although it was fast and had personal best potential.

In short: A runners race for runners.
In full: The race is three laps of pavement on the kent/south London borders. There are more runners in this region than any other part of the uk and the organisation, marshalling, drink stations and mile marking were meticulously co-oedinated.Ease of late entries made this race one of the most efficient races in the country. With over a hundred races throughout Britain I can make that statement.South London which gives us the start of the London marathon the worlds greatest marathon has a quality neighbouring event a course not disimilar in gradiant to that great event.Undulations that are long enough not to break the stride.
Those bringing the family can refresh themselves on an in house cafe that boasted
a veritable array of home baking, delicious treats for all the family.
Kent a/c who hosted the event sponsered by sarah Conners can be justifiably proud.

In short: Well-marshalled, friendly local race.
In full: Not exactly scenic, but that didn't seem to matter. Fairly flat, so definite PB potential.
