In short: A hard but very enjoyable race
In full: This was my first Beachy Head Marathon, lots of hills, my calf’s just survived! A great race, lovely course worth walking if you don’t want to run it, well organized with lots of friendly marshals and fellow runners, nice touch having the hot food at the end.

In short: It's all been said before. A stunner.
In full: First time for me, 100% lived up to expectations (including blowing up from 20m onwards unfortunately), helped by perfect weather.

Brilliant organisation, fantastic marshalling, friendly runners, fantastic course, good spectators and a nice meal to finish whoh really hit the spot. Now if they could just flatten out the Seven sisters for next year............

Sincere thanks to all involved in organising

In short: Superb day out on the downs!
In full: This was my first time in the Beachy Head Marathon and I have not been disappointed.
Lovely route, plenty of marshals, bagpipe players, two flights of steps, the seven (nasty) sisters and a painfully steep downhill section to the finish. Boy, did I underestimate the last part of the course! But with the perfect weather conditions for running an amazing day out!

In short: The only marathon I've run whilst smiling all the way round!
In full: Amazing scenery, brilliant marshalls, sausage rolls and tea at drinks stations, bagpipes, at least seven sisters to run up - who could ask for more!
