In short: A nice 10K, well marshalled, but congested start and finish slightly spoiled it for me.
In full: On the whole a lovely run. Generally well organised and lots of locals came out to cheer runners on. A very warm morning which made the 'inclines' feel harder! The start going through the gateway was very congested, made worse by cars on the road trying to get by - lost quite a bit of time here. The finish was similarly congested and the queue from the water station was backed up over the finish line making it very difficult for people to cross the finish line....people slamming into each other to try and stop dead. Perhaps the start could be moved out onto the road, and the water station at the end moved further away from the finish line. I also agree with another comment that an extra water station on route would have been welcome. Will definitely do again and all the young helpers handing out water and t-shirts did a great job.

In short: A little antiquated but in no way a bad thing, it just added to what was a nice event on a rather warm Sunday morning
In full: A well organised event, good spirited and I loved its quirkiness including the lovely older lady organinsing our baggage, the local characters running the race and a special mention to the girls serving bacon butties...all had smiles on thier faces. Nice course but perhaps next year the start could be moved a little further forward to avoid the funneling from the football car park and main road combined. Just one more water station would be welcomed.

In short: Nice race good facilities at the start
In full: Well organised run. The very warm conditions were welcome but some runners had problems in the heat!
Nice to have the marshalls cheerig and encouraging along with the crowd (thanks)Would have been even better if Lacock road was closed to traffic for the race duation even if only one way, it got a bit congested especially when an ambulance needed to get to the finish area.

In short: Friendly, fun and really well organised
In full: The pre St Georges Day (24th) reviews must have been for the other race that took place on the 17th. This one was really well organised!

This race was my first ever and I really enjoyed it. Can't really compare it with anything else, but as a beginner I found the field of runners quite diverse and unintimidating. The weather held out which made for some glorious scenery and I believe that the hills were fairly mild for the area.
Bonus T shirt at the end and a PB topped off the perfect day!

In short: good well organised event
In full: Could the reviews about the Corsham 10K held on 17th. April not be muddled up with the reviews about the Corsham 10K held on the 24th. April????
They were 2 entirely separate races

In short: Excellent route - well organised race
In full: I am not sure how other runners rated this as porrly marshalled - especially when they entered their comments before the race had been run!

I found the marshalling excellent (this year and last) with a marshal at every corner. Race was well supported and great fun.
