In short: Best event I've done so far
In full: The route was very scenic, the organisation perfect, the marshalls plentiful, friendly and full of (jelly) beans.
I was running with friends rather than racing, so the short waits at various gates and fences didn't bother me. plus it meant you got to talk to some other people and the atmosphere was exceptionally friendly the whole way round, even when we ploghed through the mud at top speed and splashed all the people creeping round the edge! I will definitely be doing this next year.

In short: The most fabulous race that I have ever taken part in
In full: Utterly brilliant!

I never knew that mud could be such fun. Excellent route, wonderful water/mud features, great marshalling, the best goody bag ever and some really great company all the way around.

Where do I sign for next year

In short: As happy as a Pig etc.....(You know where this is going)
In full: Epic... Everything about this event was superb. Well organized, superb marshalling, Tarmac (Well some) gravel, woods, hills, river crossings, Darth Vader, viscious rumour of there being some muddy sections but this is to be confirmed. Well respected remembrance prior to race. Ranulph Fiennes where were you when there was a real challenge

In full: Brilliant.

Atmosphere fantastic didn't hear any moans, course was great with many interesting features (not including me on my hand and knees in "mud" )

Hated cross country at school - maybe we should have tried this!!!

Marshalls were brilliant cheering everyone (even slowies like me)

In short: It lived up to its expectations, mud, water, obstacles, scenery, everything in one place. Oh and did I mention mud?!!!
In full: What a fabulous race. Having always hated anything that involved mud and cross country I reckon I could have been converted. And nothing could compare with a dip in the lake!! Very refreshing!
A fabulously organised race with everything you could want.

In full: Absolute cracker of a race. The atmosphere is superb, the marshalling the best and friendliest I've ever come across, and the course great fun. Many thanks to the Bitton team and supporters.

In short: The most fun I've had with my clothes on!
In full: My first cross-country race and I loved every second of it! Marshalls were great - all smiling, clapping and shouting encouragement. All runners extremely friendly and lots of helping hands to get others out of the mud! Fabulous race, grinned from ear to ear as I ran it. It's converted me to cross-country racing.
