In short: Bit warm but enjoyable course
In full: A little bit warm and lumpy for any great PBs but a nice course, well placed water and sponge stations. Few more loos in the car park area would have been helpful. But absolutely no problems parking or getting out after. Arrived at 9.45 and left about 1.45...job done!

In short: A tough hilly day for my first ever half - but brilliant!
In full: Living locally and having helped with sponges for several years, I knew it would be hilly - but brilliant nonetheless. Didn't get in under two hours, but as it was my first, really glad to finish.

Found a great running partner for the first 9 miles - but we lost each other, so hope she finished

In short: Hilly and Hard worth it for the medal
In full: Did this last year as my first and went back again this year, It's a hard hilly half but the crowd and supporters are brilliant all the way round the course, plenty of water hoses if your over heating and jelly babies at 10miles what more could you ask for oh and a shower at the end

In short: All hail the sponges
In full: A hot day made comfortable by the geniuses handing out the sponges - what a relief!

I was woefully undertrained so doddled round the course admiring the wonderful scenery and came in 20 minutes over my PB.

Hills not bad at all, I wouldn't let them put you off and one even had an ad-hoc watering post at the top, cheers!
