In short: Enjoyed it very much
In full: Good race and well organised. However, was not impressed by the results list My time is for a man and not a woman therefore denying me the first place in my age group for women. Hopefully that is sorted out.

In full: Good race. Friendly marshals & well organised.

Couple of minor niggles. Big queue to collect timing chip meaning a rush to do other things such as book baggage in, toilet etc. Please post in future!!! Also ran out of xl cagoules despite specifying on entry form months ago that I wanted this size...

In short: Tough for an average runner with an "undulating" aspect!! I normally tottle round a half in 1:45 and clocked 1:55 here. Very well organised and a great "Rugby shirt" as a gift, will do in 2011 to get another shirt!!!

In full: My second time running this race. Got a PB last year but fully unprepared for this year and was a whole 15mins slower - Disaster! (the course did measure 1.2km longer on the same Garmin forerunner but no excuses for an extra quater of an hour).

Will be back next year and will beat 2009's PB here.

P.S. it's not a hilly course. If you want hills come and try the Dursley Dozen in Feb!

In short: Excellent organisation as usual
In full: As usual the organisation of the race was excellent. The bus transfer works well. Chip collection etc was straightforward.
Prefer the rugby shirt memento rather than a medal.
Plenty of marshals out on the course. The route is hilly in places, but the last 3.5 miles are mostly downhill.

In short: A wonderful way to end the year - up gentle hill and down dale, a beautiful nip in the air, delightful marshalls and a lovely cosy rugby jumper to warm up in at the finish.

In short: An excellent first half experience
In full: As this was my first half and first road race I was very nervous! But the marshalls were brilliant and other runners very encouraging too. A great course and excellent locations for drink stations just didnt like being bused in and out but I can understand why. Will definitely be back next year to improve my time and hopefully not have the leg pain at mile 10 again!!
