In short: Oh those hills! But the medal made them all worthwhile
In full: This was my first big race, and the organisation was all very smooth which made it much easier. There was quite a queue for the loos at one point, but other than that was all good.

The hills were long & steep, but the downhill bits were great, especially the final stretch to the finish, down the drive towards Longleat House itself.

Marshalls were all very cheerful & encouraging, and I *love* my medal :-)

In short: Fantastic goodies at the end. Nice to be given something I will actually use.
In full: Absolutely killer hills, but great fun throwing myself down them after the slog up.
Friendly atmosphere, pretty views - didn't see any lions though! (apart from on the medal)

In short: Location great - hills not great - number of loos not great - medal great
In full: I did have hopes for a slighlty faster race (for me) but simply wasn't as fit as I needed to be to power up the hills. I will do it again but will prepare a little better. The organisers could have provided a more uplifting start to fit in with the atmospheric nature of Longleat. Loved the freebies - where was the 'Bag' to carry 'em?

In short: superbly orginased race
In full: Again another great race from 2:09 events, great place to run but those hills don't get any easier, always amazes me how everyone adopts the Dunkirk spirit when facing a big hill..... well done everyone including the orginisers and especially the marshalls who were very friendly and encouraging.
