In short: Above and beyond marshalling In full: Very tough conditions, rained throughout and had wet feet from the very start - but it didn't seem to matter after the first couple of 100 yds. Great atmosphere and very impressive marshalling. Back for my 4th next year. Date of review: March 1, 2010

In short: Top notch fab race as always. In full: Interesting conditions, never seen the roads quite as flooded as they were on Sunday morning. However, that made for even more support amongst the runners who were really helping each other along, what can you say about the marshals just brilliant - they never let me give up. In short: Nearly 2000 hardy runners turned up - tells you all you need to know In full: The weather was appalling, nothing you can do about that. Organisation was great, excellent value for money, great goody bag, t-shirt and medal. The weather was appalling, nothing you can do about that. Organisation was great, excellent value for money, great goody bag, t-shirt and medal. Well supported throughout both by Marshall’s and spectators, especially on the top of that big hill at mile 7/8. Definitely will do this one again. Date of review: March 1, 2010

In short: Well organised In full: It was a very cold and wet day, hence a day for the dedicated.
Loads of friendly marshalls and a well organised event. There was a good variety of pace runners which was nice. The river crossing were interesting - they may have been flooded roads, I'm not too sure ! A hilly course so minimal pb potential.
My only concern was that the baggage area was completely accessible to anyone. Date of review: March 1, 2010

In short: hilly, rainy and not very scenic In full: however, great organisation (apart from no loos, couple of portaloos at start would have been nice, i ended up having to go off road as many others did). Horrible weather. Used to training on the flat so found the hills a complete killer. Very friendly atmosphere and excellent race pacers and marshalls (so kind of them & all the supporters in this weather!). Great goody bag and medal. Date of review: March 1, 2010

In short: Despite the weather a great race. In full: As usual the Tunbridge Wells Harriers and their helpers put on a great race. Despite the torrential rain there was a great atmosphere, with a fantastic drumming band at the start and, later, along the course, very encouraging marshals and the presence of Dame Kelly Holmes added the icing on the cake. The flooded sections of road weren't too bad and the traffic management measures kept the race side of the roads largely traffic free. The goody bag, with medal, technical t shirt, running diary and snacks was excellent. Well done to everyone involved especially for remaining so cheerful in the face of such unpleasant weather. (Wouldn't you just know it, the sky is blue and the sun is shining in TW this morning!) Date of review: March 1, 2010

In short: Rain, scenery and Dame Kelly shaking your hand (and kissing!) Well done all! In full: Always a great race, yes there are hills but pretty scenery too and plenty of downhill. Each year the organisation gets better and better-mroe drinks stations, proper Powerade bottles and more Marshalls than in a Marathon - mostly good drivers around but always a few idiots but its great that roads are closed in direction of running. Great fun in the wet, got warm after 2 miles! Date of review: March 1, 2010

In short: Good pre london Marathon race, however a bit hilly! In full: A good race with a good atmosphere. My second time I've ran it. Stepney Hill is hell after about 8 miles and you have about a mile of it. Shame the heavens opened and some roads were like rivers!! Nice touch Dame Kelly shaking hands with all the finishers at the end! Well done her. Date of review: March 1, 2010
