In short: Awesome day!
In full: Done the last 3 GNRs and didn't think support/organisation gets any better, but VLM was something else!

Crowds prevent PB but improve the atmosphere so can't even complain about that!

In short: London Marathon Virgin - WOW brilliant - dont forget the ballot opens on Tuesday!
In full: Great day, bit hot - what else is there to say.
Agree with other comment - amazing to see marshalls carrying people to the end, shows the understanding of the spirit and committment shown by everyone invovled.

HUGE respect to the crowds that were everywhere Best atmosphere of any race ANYWHERE!

In short: Brilliantly organised, excellent support all the way
In full: Well, I waited 5 years for this place and listened to everyone tell me it was the best marathon etc. After running it, I can say that this is a truly brilliant mass race. The organisation at the start was silky smooth and throughout the 26.2m. And the support, well that is staggering. Everywhere people are shouting for you. The only places not covered with spectators were the underpasses. The finish is very, very well organised. Running a fast one is tough if you are not high up in the pens - this is London and most roads are narrow which makes for a slow start. The finish turn at Birdcage Walk/The Mall also got pretty cluttered. The only downside was I ran a cr@p one - but can't blame anyone else for that. Will be applying in the ballot year-after-year.

In short: Probably the greatest race anywhere
In full: This is a great race, probably the greatest. Having already run New York and Berlin, this one is far superior in atmosphere and sights along the way. Maybe next time it could be just a little cooler.

Thanks to the fantastic crowds that make this a great event.

In full: Loved it! First marathon and it was better than I expected. The crowds are unbelievable and helped so many people. Where's that ballot hat??

In short: IU broke but it was still amazing
In full: I have conflicting emotions following a fairly disaterious run but one thing you cannot question is the quality of the fans and the route. GREAT GREAT race.
