In short: Grest, well organised race
In full: Ran this last in 2006 and the niggles have been ironed out. Hilly, but not brutal. Great to get the results text by the time I'd got to the car. I bought the t-shirt, and would pay more to have a tech t, which I could then wear when training. Brilliantly well organised, very well marshalled throughout, and a very supportive crowd along the route. Oh, and a serious pb too!

In short: My fave half
In full: I arrange my autumn schedule around this race, it's THAT good. Loved the speedy downhill finish, and being able wave to all those people. Plenty of vocal-locals around too. It deserves to be a bigger event, and it could cope too, so come and join us next year...

In short: Refreshes the parts of races can't get to.
In full: Great race, second time i have done this 2006 and now 2008 and theyhave ironed out the mistakes from 2006. great atmospher all round. Just wish Coventry was a wee bit more scenic but hey that's cities for you. Left you with a warm glow inside, was actualy sad it had finished.

In short: Fabulous organisation, if a bit hilly
In full: Went like clockwork. Much better this year with the start and finish at Millennium Place. Great to run through the city centre, with plenty of support all the way round. Some lovely leafy parts of Coventry discovered, but it was rather hilly. Next year I'll buy the t-shirt if it's a technical one, but don't need another cotton one. Just a note - I haven't had a text message?!

In short: Very well orgainzed, then sent text within 1hr with time and place results amazing!!
In full: First time to run this, expected more people approx 2000. Very well organized so much so that a text from organizers was sent to mob. within 1hr of finishing with gun time, chip time and place. (Never had this before) also results online same day. Course is not flat with some drawn out hills. Well worth my trip from Bristol!!

In short: Fantastic Half Marathon
In full: Really enjoyed this. It beats some other big city marathons hands down for organisation which was faultless. There were loads of marshalls and lots of support all around the course. I don't know Coventry very well and I was really impressed with how leafy it is with the tree lined roads and the course going through several parks. Quite hilly in places and a real pleasure to run.

In short: A winter special!
In full: Nice half marathon; has a few hills sometimes etc. but nothing that's gonna make your ankles bleed.
If you prepare well you'll really enjoy it, I lost 5 mins off my last PB.
Organisation was superb, facilities were excellent, chip timing is definitely the way forward. Friendly crowds, traffic free course and a downhill finish with crowds all clapping and roaring at you as you're entering the last 400 metres.
Free t-shirt woud have been nice and wish there was a bottle store for water at the start but these really are gripes not really worth mentioning.
Plenty of drop out points, marshalls, ambulance, police etc. round. Don't think you could wish for any more to be honest.

Well done Cov CC and its sponsors and organisers. Great job! See you next year!!

In short: Race of the falling leaves
In full: within 10mins of finishing I received a text from the organisation giving me my chip time, gun time and overall position. Simply amazing and something I've never come across before. Faultless organisation, great start and finish area, oodles and oodles of marshalls all over the route, police prescence, well marked route, well stocked drinks stations, appreciative crowd all around the route. This truly is a great race which is getting better each year. You'd be mad not to do it.
The only negative is you don't get a free t-shirt but I'm nit picking ;-)
