In short: Great race - course much improved on last year, well organised, great start and finish
In full: Really enjoyed the new course- loads of variety and nice to have some off road sections. Also loads of hills but we had been warned (except for that nasty surprise one in mile 12). Full marks to Warwick University cheerleaders too. Excellent organisation, great atmosphere at start and finish, enough loos (must be a first). Seems a shame to come up with any improvements, but more frequent park and ride buses back to Memorial Park would be good - like last year it was a 30minute wait. Oh, and I missed the whole maltloaf per person in the goodybag (but know that that was a mistake!!)!!

In short: Well organised, better course than lst year.
In full: Can't really be faulted, surprise hill just after University hurt. Memorial park a bit soulless but nearly home by then. Good medal and t-shirt. Plenty of water stops. Almost a PB even after just coming back from injury. Well done to the organisers, hope it continues next year.

In short: Great day, really well organised and marshalled. Hills weren't as bad as expected. Section around War Memorial Park was a bit soul destroying though.

In short: Excellent
In full: Much, much better course than last year. Personally not one of my better races as started feeling ill halfway round but up to that point was really enjoying it. Will definitely do it again next year if they keep the same course. Yes it was hilly at the start and the hill at the end was a bit nasty but don't they all have hills at some point. The event was very well organised, the fact that water came in bottles with tops on was very much appreciated. Also liked the support of spectators along the way. My only negative point on the organisational side was that I feel the timing chips should have been sent out with the race numbers. I know the official reason was that they didn't want to send chips to people that didn't run but you could have picked chip up a few days before and still pick up an injury or illness the day before the race, why not just send an envelope for its return like other races do.

In short: Excellent!
In full: A really enjoyable event! The course was hilly, but bearable, and started out onto a big dual carriageway which avoided any immediate log jams as people found their pace.
It was a nice course - the only grumble I could come up with would be the very narrow path going past the water which didn't allow for any overtaking. Thankfully the worst hills were at the start - although there was one nasty one near the end. Even with the hills its a fast course, though.
Good support from marshals and public; especially the cheerleaders around the half way mark!
Fantastic goody bag comprising of a nice teeshirt (ladies fit and standard available), a goodish medal, banana, water, orange juice and a Twix.
Will be signing up for this in 2007 as soon as applications open.

In short: Much better course than last year ... challenging too !
In full: The zig zagging through memorial park was a bit of a downer .. it seemed like it would never end ! And that hill in the last mile was a nasty surprise ! Much better course than last year, and very well supported and marshalled throughout. Maybe next year, they can add a bit nearer the beginning to avoid the zig-zagging in memorial park. Organisation was top-notch ... can't fault it at all.
