In full: I had no idea how difficult the race was but I have to say it was excellent. Add half an hour onto your half marathon time and that gives you an idea of how tough it was.Loads of mud and around 1500 feet of climbing in total. Fell over twice and came down a hill on my backside (a safer option than running down, even with off road shoes on). The support from marshalls was excellent particularly on the last hill. Well done organisers!

In short: Mud Mud Mud!!!!
In full: Fantastic race. Has to be one of my favourites. Never ran in so much mud before but loved every minute. Even managed to knock 6 mins off my pb for the course. Well done to all at PVRC, and all the marshalls. In particuler the marshall at the top of the 3rd climb with the jelly babies, he must have been freezing up there.
