In short: excellent course, very nice run
In full: First time in the north downs run.
Nice day in the sun on a very lovely course.
In the end I didn't know which I hated most: uphill (heart and lungs ache) or downhill (legs ache).
But then again. I will be back next year.

In short: Should be RW's favourite run
In full: It was really tough, but the marshals (and there were hundreds) were, without exception, cheerful and encouraging. The route was very well signed and any hazards clearly flagged. It was great to have so many water stations - and sponges! A special thanks to the boy who was meant to be helping his father wash the car but turned his hoses on us instead!

In short: Love it, though I'm sure the hills are getting harder.
In full: Third year in a row for this race for me and I can still say it's one of the best races around. God though it was hard, especially this year with temperatures in the mid twenties. The hills and the temperatures and the twists and turns and the mad downhills meant that there are bits of my ego all over the last 10km. Marshalls, organisers, superb, big pat on the back to you all. See you all next year.
