In short: First 10 Miler - nice scenic views on the downs
In full: Not PB material, a lot of hills for first 4 miles, some nice downhills. Had great weather, chilly but low bright winter sun. Really enjoyable for all abilities.

In short: pleasant views from The Downs, well marshalled, medal unique to the club instead of the bland catalogue items handed out by some

In short: Owch, that hurt!
In full: As a beginner, I found the race quite challenging. I hadn't expected the hills to be quite that steep, or quite that long. I still managed to have a good time though, and I'm feeling quite pleased with myself now. Thanks to Epsom and Ewell Harriers for a well organised, well marshalled race.

In short: Great fun and a great morning for a run, tricky up hill starts and fairly flat and downhill for the second half.

In short: Quite hard work to mile 4, much easier thereafter.
In full: A small, well mixed field though fewer slower runners than I remember from a few years ago. Not the easiest 10 miler around but well worth the effort.

In short: Fairly undulating course but with nice downhill section towards the end. Organised well and beautiful location - an excellent race.

In short: A tough road race around Epsom Racecourse
In full: I get to post the first review so I will try to be reasonably comprehensive.

A well marshalled and well organised race around Epsom, Walton, Tadworth and Headley - I am not a local, but I think those are the place names I saw. The course was roads throughout, so the conditions underfoot were good, although you do have to be careful of traffic, particularly in the early part of the race. The course undulated, but given the area, I didn't think it was as hilly as it might have been.

The entry fee is modest, but there was a medal and water at the end and a few generour supporters cheering everyone home. I guess there were about 300 runners, so perhaps not an ideal race for for very slow first timers; they might prefer one of the larger races that can have a very long tails of slower runners to finish with.

I enjoyed the race and will run next year if I get the chance.

Note that this is a completely different course to the Tadworth 10, which is a multi terrain and tougher.
