In short: A challenging race
In full: The hills, particularly between the 8th and 11th miles, made this a really challenging race. Running through a park at around the half way stage was a delight as was running through the town centre.

In short: Really well organised ... not sure about it being 'undulating'
In full: A really well organised and marshalled event specially considering the rather wet conditions. First few miles lulls you into a false sense of security (due to down hill sections then)the route becomes more aggressively uphill as it goes on (and the tired your legs get). To get the best out of this one make sure you do some hill training!

In short: New course has some good steady inclines to test you, especially in the second half, but overall the course rolls along nicely. Good support from marshalls all the way round. Definitely one to have a go at for a bit of a hill workout. f

In short: Even though I knew about the hills it was still hard work
In full: My first half marathon...
I can say I wasn't looking forward to it at the start (especially as it was pouring with rain) but I was definately glad I took part and managed to finish it... I was aware there were hills, but the hills are long and became tougher as the race progressed and the weather wasn't the best today.. but all things considered the people that came out to watch were supportive and it was an enjoyable experience and I would definately recommend this one!!!! (Mind you thats after I done some hill training though!!!)

In short: Great race. Well organised. A challenging course. Friendly and encouraging marshalls, police and spectators, particularly considering the weather..

In short: Great organisation as always
In full: My only gripe is that the mile markers could do with being bigger or placed higher up as i missed a couple on the course. A big thank you to the marshalls and the police for there words of encourgement around the course.
