In short: Good race. Hilly but not too hilly.
In full: An enjoyable race. Some testing climbs especially when running into the wind. One stretch running through a valley where the scenery was glorious - the run was worth it for that mile alone.

A shame about some of the impatient car drivers pushing through on the narrow roads.

In short: Very tough run and very windy.
In full: The marshalls were terrific, friendly and very encouraging. When I asked at the water station at 6 miles if the run got any easier, the marshall just smiled sympathetically. I then turned the next corner to face the hardest climb in the race!
Overall a great way to spend a Sunday morning.

In short: Hilly, rainy but great to finish it!
In full: This was my first half marathon and what a start! The three miles uphill at the beginning nearly had me turning around especially as it was driving wind and rain. Very glad to finish though and a real sense of achievment. Would like to do it again in nicer weather.
