In short: A real beast of a race!!
In full: This has to be the toughest race I have done yet,and probabbly one of my favourites, fantastic scenery, plenty of hills and fast splippery decents. The second set of steps was a real leg breaker. The orgaisation and marshalling were second to none. Plenty of encouragement and water stations. Well done to all who ran this race. Look forward to next year.

In short: Beast it is!
In full: This is a fantastic event. The course is not for the faint hearted, that said, the scenery is inspiring. The steps certainly add an extra level of challenge.
The marshalls were plentiful and very supportive, and plenty of water stations. The marshalls at the finish handing out water in bottles was an excellent touch - no scramble for half full cups.
Well done all involved, see you again next year.

In short: Not enough hills, the 2 big climbs were difficult to attack as everyone was walking up.

In short: Those steps are hard - both up and down!
In full: Definitely a hilly race, the second set of steps were tough. Scenery was fantastic, terrain varied and challenging. Marshalling was great, plenty of them and friendly too.

In short: Very difficult terrain especially the styles but well organised
In full: This was a challenge with the styles, mud and steep steps. However, the friendliness of both competitors and marshalls made it a great run.
